Flatiron Stomp Recap: The Truckin’ Edition

Last Monday was another energetic and fun night of dancing and classes at Flatiron Stomp! At one point in the night everyone started to Truck. Truckin’ is a solo Jazz step, but originally it was its own dance craze that swept through parts of the country during the swing era.

Ceth and Delilah continued with week 3 of their Rueda class, and again the room was packed. Here is the recap video below. Students are also organizing independent weekend Rueda practices to review the material. If you would like to find out more information, check out the Facebook event.

Finally, Krister and Heather taught a class on how to incorporate Jazz steps into your Lindy Hop.

In the meantime keep on Truckin’. We’ll see you next week on Monday for the conclusion of our January series. Also, the Rueda group will be performing for us at the dance!
