Monday, March 1st, we’re starting new series for beginners and intermediates and are continuing with more challenging Level 3 classes as well. Learn some cool dance steps, burn off some calories left over from 2009 and meet new people. You can pay online here, or at the door.

Progression of our Classes: We have 5 months of progressive instruction in Lindy Hop, followed by years of more challenging material.

Month 1: Lindy 1a or Lindy 1b (order not important, beginners start here, no prerequisites)
Month 2: Lindy 1a or Lindy 1b (order not important, beginners start here, no prerequisites)
Month 3: Lindy 2a, 2b, or 2c (order not important, prereqs are Lindy 1a and 1b or inst. permission)
Month 4: Lindy 2a, 2b, or 2c (order not important, prereqs are Lindy 1a and 1b or inst. permission)
Month 5: Lindy 2a, 2b, or 2c (order not important, prereqs are Lindy 1a and 1b or inst. permission)
Months 6 to n (years later):: Lindy 3 (constant new material/technique, prereqs are Lindy 2a,2b,2c or inst. permission)

Many of our students take Lindy 1a and 1b more than once to get solid in their basics before moving on to Level 2.
Also, a good percentage of students stay in Level 2 more than 3 months - a lot of dance vocabulary is covered in Level 2.
Level 3 is an ongoing new material/technique class that seldom has repeated material for years.

No partner is required for any of the above classes. Please bring a pair of clean dry shoes and wear comfortable clothes. High heels are discouraged as this is a more “into the ground” kind of dance. Slippery shoes are better and we have shoe kits to convert a comfy pair of shoes into dedicated swing dance shoes.

7pm to 8pm Lindy Hop 2b
7pm to 8pm Lindy Hop 3
8:15pm to 9:15pm Lindy Hop 1b

Cost
$35 for Lindy Hop 1a/2a series (4 classes) per person
5 and 10 punchcards for classes also available to save even more money
